请学生在课前上网搜索资料,解决两个问题

1. 摄氏温度和华氏温度是什么意思,怎么换算。

2. 哪些国家用摄氏温度,哪些国家喜欢用华氏温度。

Teaching procedures教学过程:

Step1 Warm up

1 Free talk:(根据PPT出示的图片)Ask and answer according to the pictures.

S1: Whats wrong with him?

S2: He has a

S1: What should he do?

S2: He should

S1: Why does he have a toothache?

S2: Maybe he

Step2 Presentation

1. Show teaching aims

In this lesson, well have some learning aims. Look at the learning aims. First, I know the sound of the letter ch. Then, I know the difference between the expresses of temperature in China and Western countries. Finally, I can understand cartoon time and can act it out well.

(PPT出示teaching aims)

2 .Sound time

Now, lets come to the first aim.

a. T: Look at the picture. The boy is Charlie.

What is Charlie doing? (eat chicken for his lunch/sit on a bench)

根据孩子看图的想象板书:

lunch

b. Ss read the words together.

T ask Ss whats the sound of ch.

c. Ss read the words and short passage after VCD.

d. Ss read the short passage in rhyme in groups. T ask one group to read the short passage.

e. T asks students to think more words with ch and say sentences with the words on the blackboard.

f. T lead Ss to think more pronunciations of “ch”

e.g. Christmas; Christina; chemistry; character

a. Ss read culture time after VCD.

b. T teaches students the meaning and how to read the three words: temperature, centigrade and Fahrenheit.

c. 请学生用中文分享课前搜索的资料。

4. Cartoon time

a出图片,

Look at the picture: Who are they?

They are

Guess: What are they saying?

b. Watch the cartoon and tell whats wrong with them?

After watching the cartoon, Ss answer whats wrong with these four animals.

c. Self study.

Ss read cartoon time by themselves and find the difficulties.

Ss learn the difficulties in groups of four.

If there is still some difficulties, Ss learn them in class. The able students will help.

If there is still something the students cant understand, T helps.

d. Read cartoon time with VCD in a hole.

(Imitate the pronunciation and the intonation.)

e. Act out the story in groups.

T ask two groups to act it out.

f. Extension: Make up a dialogue.

Ss form groups of four.

Imagine you are in the hospital, one is the doctor, the other three are patients…

Step3 Homework

1.Read what we learn today three times and recite cartoon time.

2. Finish the exercise in workbook.
